    1. LU hours refer to contact hours.
    2. If you do not meet the required CE hours in any year for AIA membership, you have a year to make it up before your membership is terminated. You must make up your LU hour deficit and complete LU requirements for the current year.
    3. If you accrue more than 18 LU hours in a calendar year, hours over the requirement of 18 hours are applied in the following year. LU hours do not roll over for more than a year.
    4. If you join the AIA as an architect level member, or upgrade your membership to architect level in the course of a calendar year, you are exempt from CE requirements the year you join.
    5. Your LUs will be reported for you if you take a program with any organization identified as an "AIA/CES Registered Provider".
    6. You can self-report both structured programs (learning programs offered by non-AIA/CES providers) and self-designed study on the Self-Report Form found on the AIA member website: http://sparky.occe.ou.edu/aia/member/login/ on the Continuing Education page.
    7. You can view your LU status by going to the Continuing Education page at http://sparky.occe.ou.edu/aia/member/login/. You will need your membership number to view your LU status.
